Sweet Potato Treat

Honey- Dipped Sweet Potato, topped with Yak Cheese.

Ingredients

1 sweet potato

1 cups whole wheat flour

1/4 cup unsweetened honey

2 eggs

1 Dogsee Chew bar

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  1. Before heating the sweet potato, keep pricking the sweet potato with a prick for a number of times.
  1. Heat the sweet potato in a microwave on high mode till it becomes tender for. Around 5-6 minutes should be enough. Cut the potato into half, deskin and scoop the flesh into a bowl. After discarding the skin, mash the potato and keep about 1 cup of it for cooking. Store away the rest for future use.
  1. Mix whole wheat flour, honey and eggs to the mashed potato and form a dough. Prepare a well-floured surface and turn the dough on it. Roll it to about ½-inch thickness. Cut the dough into cookie shapes with a cookie cutter or into strips with a pizza cutter. Arrange the shaped dough on an ungreased baking paper. Grate some yak cheese on top.
  1. Bake until the dough becomes crisp. Around 35 to 45 minutes will be enough. Let it cool for about 10 minutes in the pans. Finally, remove and cool it on a wire rack.

Droolworthy Tip

Be generous with the yak cheese topping, it will add a roasted and cheesy flavour that your dogs will absolutely love.
